it pays to check

I am mildly addicted to Build-a-Bear Workshop.* To the point that I have their "Stuff fur Stuff" rewards card.** I'm supposed to get $10 off after every $100 I spend.***

But I haven't gotten a coupon in a long time, so Saturday when I was there I asked about it. The cashier checked my account balance, proving in the process that they had my old address, which I had her update. She also mentioned that they might email me the coupons.

When I got home, I logged in to double-check and discovered that they also still had my old email address. As in, hasn't been valid in about four years. Oh. So I fixed that, too, then emailed them and explained the situation.

I got a reply today. I have not one, not two, but *three* unused reward certificates. Which they are mailing me new copies of. Sweet!

*yes, yes, I know
**it's free--why not?
***yes, it's pathetic that I spend enough for it to be worth it

rewards cards, stuffed animals, build-a-bear workshop, coupons, teddy bears
