I had all of my fingers and toes crossed. I really did. This is so depressing. All of the shit that happened last night.
Bush has won. He got Nevada. It's over.
I don't want to believe this.
And to top it all off 11 states voted against gay marraige. Now, here's something to ponder...why are we voting on gay marraige anyway? What the hell does that have to do with politics. Really think about that. No one ever voted about straight marraige. Why should people who aren't gay give two shits about other people who get married? I will never understand the struggle with gay rights. It absolutely does not make any sense to me. There should be nothing to arguee about. The issue of being able to get married should be no one's problem but the two people that want to get married.
Church and state apparently will never be seperate.
Now the country is turning republican. What the fuck is wrong with people?
Morals should not be a deciding factor when voting? What about this endless war? What about the fucking economy?
Now Bush will run off to his ranch and milk some cows.
