I am feeling the need to gush about my lovely weened.
First of all, I didn't have to work at either jobs on Saturday or Sunday. Unfortunitely, I did have to work on Friday at Shaw's even though it was my birthday. But I absolutely adore birthday's so nothing could ruin my mood.
I have applied for a full time job at Shaw's, there is only one other candidate. I have a very good shot of getting it. And getting out of this store. I also have an interview with People's Heritage Bank. I am more than excited about it. I can not wait for the interview to be over. I need and want a full time job. It would just be so much better if it was at a bank. Thank you
Emi for making me feel so much more confident about it!
The birthday celebrations ended up being excellent. I was completely spoiled by my loving boyfriend. Just makes me so crazy about him. He took me out to dinner at a very nice restaurant, The Saltwater Grill. Yum! Then we went back to his house, his mother bought me a birthday cake. It is seriously bizarre to hear my boyfriend's parents sing "happy birthday" to me. And the fact that his mother was one of my teacher's in high school only adds to it. Afterwards Aaron overloaded me with gifts. *sigh* I'm not generally a material person, but .....I so enjoyed getting a ton of stuff from Aaron. My mother made me a birthday dinner on Saturday and I got to sleep in. My excellent friend Amanda stuck a candle in a donut when I went in to buy coffee from her on Friday morning. She is constantly making me laugh.
On Sunday it was our road trip day. Aaron, Amanda and I went to Manchester, New Hampshire for a reptile expo. I am definitely not into the repitle thing, but Aaron did buy a cute lizzard, a chameleon. He's pretty damn cool. I managed to drag Aaron over to Spider Bite and got myself a new piercing. Ha! Aaron was not happy. Sorry, my ear, deal with it. I got an industrial piercing. Which is just a huge bar going through the top of my ear. After I get a digital camera I'll post some pics of it. Now my ear hurts like hell. But it's hot! ;-)
And that folks, was my excitingly wonderful weekend.
