day two for me of being in the new house. it's been strange. The cats spend what time they're not confined (to keep them out from underfoot while unpacking the POD) wandering around the house well more like racing around the house calling, or chirruping and miaowing and meh'ing at me to chase me to where their dishes are.
I *love* my house. (yes I know it's a condo.. :>) despite a rocky first day, it feels peaceful when I walk in the door..
I'm hoping to have our housewarming over labour day, at the earliest.. :> twill be great biga$$ BBQ buffet fixins and the like and multiple tours of the place.. :> (mind the cats and yes they are allowed to explore the backyard as long as someone is out there to keep an eye on them - the neighbours dog likes to chase cats.. :>
still a ton of boxes to unpack, but that's a project for over my vacation.. :>
with luck it won't take more than a couple of days.. :P organizing it wight take a coupla years I mean months.. :> ahh heck who am I kidding.. it's been nearly 30 years for my parents in the house I grew up in and they still don't have it completely orgainsed.. :> oh well.
but tiss very late now.. (past 11pm) and this exhausted construction worker needs to sleep
