Injuries FTW!

So this morning I went to the Emergency Room to get my hand X-rayed, since it will still purplish-blue and unable to move when I woke up. We waited for two hours before we could get an X-ray (there wasn't a lot of people coming into the E.R, but all the beds were full), and then we waited another hour, hour and a half, before we got to see a doctor. Turns out that my finger is actually fractured - a very minor fracture, but still a fracture. One of my joints got a tiny bit of bone chipped off it. It's so minor that to go and get it operated on would cause more trauma than just to let it heal on its own. So my middle and ring fingers are bound together, and I wear a sling for a few days, until the swelling goes down. Typing one-handed is going to make IT fun. Also, eating and drawing are a challenge. I'm not left-handed, but I use it to balance my movements. Art this afternoon was interesting, to say the least.

Anyway, enough angsting. I'm experimenting with different looks of characters for my Stormbringer fanart (and am eternally in debt to a DA artist called mangapunksai, who has provided some invaluable tuitions that gave me insights into character design). Getting closer to giving them the look I want - I was actually surprised at how much a character's face can say about them (shows how inexperienced I am). Still working on the first chapter of Mr. Brightside, my multi-chapter with a not-so-mystery pairing.

Other than that, theren's nothing much going on, apart from the fact that I'm not going to be able to play the piano for a couple of weeks.
