Hi guys! Not dead. Just mostly on Tumblr these days. (Though I advise you to steer clear if you're not a fan of Tom Hiddleston, because it's pretty much been 90% him since I went to see The Avengers. I am smitten and I regret NOTHING ( Read more... )

Latin: Epic is the best name for a subject ever. Your language subjects always sound so interesting, I wish I'd had room for some of that stuff!

And omg, I'll join a choir with you! I spent pretty much my entire undergrad trying to find someone who'd join the choral society with me. Except they rehearse Wednesday nights and I have cheerleading at that time now :(

BTW, I posted on your FB wall - we should go eat cake with Mags :)

To be fair, they do require heaps and heaps of time... I think it pays off, but then, this is my major. If I wasn't enjoying myself, I'd be in deep trouble!

I'm sure there's some kind of casual group around; I'd rather do something like that anyway. I don't mind performing, but I prefer to sing for fun, you know? And formal chorale tends to have very...well, uptight songs.

I'm free during the last week of the holidays, if you're still interested! (Sorry for not checking FB earlier - I really do have to make that thing a habit somehow.)

One day I'll just make you teach me all of them. Yep. :D It's always great to have a major you enjoy, I went through part of a degree that I wasn't enjoying at all and I was so unhappy that year! (I ended up quitting.)

If you find something, let me know! As long as it fits in around my uni and cheerleading, I'm definitely up for it; I miss singing! I haven't done any (except little bits at music camp) since, like, year 9. :'(

Last week of the hols sounds good to me! Any days in particular? I'll chat to Mags too and we can figure out a time that suits all of us, I can't wait! My little readingchick is all grown up. :'D

That could take a while. But I'm up for it, if the time could be found!

Ugh, that's awful! I'll definitely let you know if I find something.

Hmm. Well, I'm free any day of the week - but there's a concert by the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra at the Town Hall on Monday night. Beethoven's 5th and the Roman Pines, apparently. I was thinking of going. Perhaps we could make it a group thing?

Oh no, if this is next week (and I think it is?) I just arranged to have dinner with a friend who's back from Perth briefly that night! Although I'm not sure if I can really afford MSO prices at the moment anyway >_> Is there another time that might be okay? I guess if we're going to eat cake afternoon tea would be it, but I'd be up for dinner somewhere as well, so it's up to you! Preferably not Wednesday but any other day, except that Monday night. :'D

It is, and don't fret - I just thought I'd offer. :) If we want to do afternoon tea, Saturday would be out for me (I have a 2-5 work shift), but any other day is fine. Let's check with Mags, see when she's available.
