So, I don't want to spoil anybody, but in this next book, Anne and Gilbert get married. Huzzah! We'll discuss Anne's House of Dreams, one of my favorites, on Sunday, May 15th.
Anne's House of Dreams was published in 1917, two years after Anne of the Island. (Both books were released during WWI.) It's set in 1890-1892. It introduces a new location, Four Winds, of which there is a map here. (The consensus seems to be that Four Winds mirrors PEI's New London.)
Thanks to everybody for participating in the movie chats, they were a lot of fun. As of now we have no more chats planned - but would people be interested in book chats, instead or in addition to the weekly discussion posts?
