Discussion of Hotness and Truth (with diagram)

Me: (regarding Supernatural RPS and tinhattery) I think, though, that people need to understand that just because something is hot doesn't make it true. It's like:(makes boxes with hands) Hot (box one). True (box two). There is no necessary correspondance.
M: Although things that are hot can be true. Like a Venn diagram.
Me: Indeed.
M: Likewise, things that are true are not necessarily hot.
Me: Certainly. Several examples spring immediately to mind.
M: Which is probably a good thing. Because otherwise, you know, people would be going round having spontaneous orgasms whenever they heard a fact.
