This has actually been a serious day but have some cute.
Ok, so between union strikes next week that may make work difficult on top of a marking overload, and of course the awful ongoing news from Japan, this has actually been quite a sombre day. Also one of my very best friends may be moving to the US on a possibly-long term basis in the next year and a bit...and whilst I totally support her because this is what she needs to do to be happy in her life and I want her to be happy, I will of course miss having her right here. Though it does mean I'll be going to the US one day to visit! And...SPN is on hiatus. Again. :(. BUT then I found this picture of Sammy as a kitten, and I mean COME ON - was he not the cutest thing ever? Not that he isn't now, of course. But jeez. What a face. No wonder I couldn't resist him. Sam was an unplanned baby - my friend was getting a kitten and I Went along for the ride. Came home with my first cat:
