SPN Dvds! Saturday Business.
After resolving not to buy anything I didn't strictly need for a while, I just ordered Supernatural S5 on DVD. Look, I kind of need it. My Phd topic is the discourses of SPN and it's fanfiction communities, you know. How am I supposed to talk about the finer details of editing, light use, metatextual reference, without extended watching and pausing? And talk about how the cast and production crew present the text in their meta? Also, also.....it has 'Changing Channels'. And 'The End'. And...the finale. OMG the finale. I need to watch that without being distracted by the sound of my own bawling. Somehow.
Now for some Saturday business. Miss Zara is doing very well, growing like a weed. She zooms and wrestles with Sam all the time now. He definitely thinks its playing and I think she does most of the time. I tried to get an updated pic of her for his morning but she wouldn't stay still. This one is blurry but actually kind of cool in an accidental-modern-art way:
and this is her on my knee - excuse the weird angle of my legs, I'm sort of kneeling and leaning backwards whilst holding the camera - very flexibly, I might add:
I don't think I'll do anything exciting this weekend: basically clean the house which is in desperate need this morning, go to the gym this afternoon (typing that in order to convince myself I will do it), and then tomorrow I'll visit my mum. Had the girls over the other night for some Wii bowling and dance (not our Wii!) which was wicked fun. But now K is in Washington for a couple weeks visiting her boyfriend (long-distance deal). Hope everyone has a good one.
