Merry Christmas, ya'll!
The Christmas at my Aunt's house was fun - people started showing up around noon yesterday and it was 11 pm when we left to go down to Grandma's for sleeping. There were several games of dominoes & Scrabble and two epic bouts of Spoons. I only have minor injuries.
This year's women's gift exchange was FULL of "smelly good stuff", which I hate. I ended up stealing back the present I brought *again*. Luckily it was Monty Python & The Quest for the Holy Grail, which we didn't have a copy of yet. No one steals when everything out there is a variation on stuff-to-make-you-smell-good, which makes for a boring gift-exchange, people!
We are home from our Christmas travels and for once it is pre-Christmas! We're actually going to spend Christmas day AT OUR HOUSE! This has happened maybe once or twice before in my entire life... so, Mom & I are plotting the shopping list for all the things we are making for our Christmas Dinner while Dad builds a fire.
The presents left under the tree are just for us & Dad finally got around to wrapping his so now it at least looks like a respectable amount of presents.
