Dragon*Con
So, I don't know if ya'll know... I'm going to Dragon*Con this year.
Charis & I are driving out with our friend Allison and staying with her family in Atlanta while at the con. It's a 13ish hour drive, so we're leaving Fort Worth at 6 am so it won't be super, super late when we get to Atlanta. Which means I need to leave my house no later than 5:30, which is now less than 5 hours from now.
Anyhow, having trouble sleeping(much too excited) and the Twitter is quiet, so I thought I'd post here and just sort of inform everyone... I can never keep track of who I've told what, so I tend to assume everyone knows stuff, but sometimes they don't.
I'm excited. It's my first ever con. Wil Wheaton & Felicia Day & Colin Ferguson will all be there. Also lots of other people, but those are the ones I'm excited about seeing, even if just from a distance. Also, Sophia. I am excited about seeing Sophia, especially up close.
My face decided to break out today & my fingernails decided to break off randomly... which is less than ideal. I'm kinda annoyed about it.
Cosplay! I'm going to be dressed as Kaylee(from Firefly) one day, using Mel's shirt & coveralls & my fabulous hair. I also threw stuff into my suitcase that could be assembled into a Petria (from The Phoenix Requiem) outfit if I feel so inclined. I think I'm the only one from our trio who will be cosplaying, though, so we'll see if I want to try being Petria...
