Update on Life
So, I am back from Albuquerque... I got in late last night. The flight was only delayed an hour, but it was 9:30 by the time Dad & I left the airport and then we went straight to the hospital and didn't get home until after 11.
Danny had his appendix out yesterday afternoon. We had originally planned to have a Surprise Party/Guy Fawkes Celebration tonight, but now we're not since he just got out of the hospital at 1:30 this afternoon. It's his birthday tomorrow.
Nano's been pretty well, except I've missed too many days of writing. I intended to start a day early, and gave myself a buffer, but I'm still 1,978 words behind where I need to be(or I could add another 925 words and get my buffer back). That means I need to write a lot today and tomorrow and Sunday to get back ahead of myself.
Also, it's really hard not to edit as I go, and there are some parts that just need to be cut out, but I refuse to do that now as I'd be sacrificing a couple hundred words and I'm already behind on my counts.
My posts concerning Nano are all friends locked, just because it felt like the thing to do. I haven't filtered them specially, but I'm just posting general plot counts, I'm not posting any of the actual writing.
