A couple of Updates, for those who care...
So, I failed to finish knitting on the scarf within a week. If it hadn't been for CBS I probably could have made it... oh well, CBS was great, well worth sacrificing my silly made-up deadline. However, as of last night I have only 98 rows left on it, and the first day I worked on it I managed 94 rows, so I can probably finish the knitting tonight, and then I have only to finish the weaving-in of tails and adding the fringe. A week and a half is not bad at all, considering the epic scope of this project.
In other news, I may or may not be able to attend WGAP tonight. I really want to come and knit and listen(but not read because I've been knitting all week and not writing, of course), but it will depend on the status of my car. Charlie is at the dealership today because the SRS light came on this weekend and apparently that's very bad - it's to do with a malfunction in either the airbags or the seatbelts(possibly both), which means if there were a crash I'd probably not survive it. Anyhow, so Mom and I dropped Charlie off this morning and Mom drove me to work and going to WGAP will depend on whether or not Charlie gets fixed today. If Danny were going to be home tonight I'd commandeer his car to come to WGAP but he's got his bible study at the BSM on Monday nights. I can't drive Mom's car because it's a stick-shift(which I can't drive at all) and I really hate driving Dad's big truck except on long straight roads in the middle-of-nowhere where there isn't anything for me to kill or crash into. So, yeah, Charlie is pretty much my only option...
Also, I love my TARDIS icon. I'm not sure which Doctor that is, but I believe it's one of the old ones. I went looking for Doctor Icons and the ones that I actually liked were Old-Doctor icons. The ones with 9 and 10 on them didn't seem quite what I was looking for...
