A while back, on one of the threads at the SugarQuill, we were discussing whether or not there was any correlation between Myers-Briggs Personality Types and the "personality types" of the four Hogwarts Houses. I had my own theory on how the Types could be split up into Houses, and without the Quill around, I've had a bit more time on my hands,

My split up:
NT = BOTH Ravenclaw and Slytherin, depending on whether they value ambition more or intelligence more.
STP - Gryffindor
SFP - Gryffindor
NFP - Gryffindor
STJ - Hufflepuff
SFJ - Hufflepuff
NFJ - Hufflepuff
The thing is, SPs are the ULTIMATE Gryffindors. The description of an STP, for example, which I took from various Myers-Briggs sources, describes a Gryffindor perfectly:
You are a GRYFFINDOR!
As a Gryffindor and as an STP, you are adventurous,
impulsive, and value heroic deeds. You enjoy
moving from one challenge to the next, and are
risk-taking, adaptable, and pragmatic. Since
you value freedom and spontaneity, you dislike
structure and may bend rules that you feel are
too stifling. When faced with a practical
problem, you approach it with courage,
flexibility, and resourcefulness. You are also
analytical, logical, and pragmatic.

Also, I disagree that Draco is an ESTP; I think he's an ENTP. He fits that personality description PERFECTLY. I'm not at home at the moment, so I can't quote from any books, but two phrases that I remember: ENTPs "constantly strive to increase their personal power" and "are often seen as arrogant."
Furthermore, I think that Harry's personality type is PERFECT for Gryffindor. By nature, Harry isn't at all ambitious, and he's NOT an "ends justify the means" kind of person; on the other hand, he's impulsive, a risk-taker, brave....
As for Percy, I wouldn't use him as an example, simply because he's NOT a typical Gryffindor at all. In fact, I think he's really best-suited for Hufflepuff - but begged the hat not to put him there, probably because of the bad name that Hufflepuff has - and so ended up in Gryffindor. Percy is the perfect example of a Hufflepuff getting messed up. Loyal, sense of duty, industrious, believes in a strict standard of justice... but loyalty and sense of duty to the wrong people.
