2. Um. Tricky, dat. I'd have to go with Kabuto (big surprise) for the guys, and Tenten, for the girls.
Why Kabuto: He's got a nice character design, for one. (One glance at him, and I knew he wasn't going to just be Mr. Exposition). Moreover, he's got a rather interesting mystery about his motivations and capabilities that's still going- he seems to have little actual personal loyalty to Orochimaru, for instance, which makes his actions to keep the snaky bastard still alive intriguing. His words to Naruto during the Sannin face-off indicates that he values living, with the possibility of fulfilling whatever his dreams might be, higher than personal honour, which might explain this somewhat, but exactly what is his dream that so desperately needs Orochimaru alive, to the extent of offering his own body to be the new container for Oro's soul! Come to think of it, how would he go about fulfilling it then? And then there's his healing of Hinata during the Third Round of the Chuunin Exams- that would seem to eliminate the simple destruction of Konoha, presumably as revenge for the death of whatever Ninja clan or village he used to belong to, as a motivation- otherwise, why go out of his way to heal a Konoha Genin?
Why Tenten: Again, decent character design, always a plus. She also seems, in her own regard, the most balanced of Gai's team. Her style (at least the anime version of it) also appeals to me- I've something of a weakness for the ridiculously heavily armed/Hidden Weapons exponents. The anime shows just enough of her to make me want to see more.
3. Well... if I were to write ship myself, it'd probably have to be involving one of my own characters. Thus, either Reader/Alyss(the possible Muse/figment of his imagination), or I dunno, perhaps Reader/Vanessa, on the simple basis that I'd probably have the most material to work with (despite her efforts to sink that ship).
Or, given the option to just ship anyone, Bonita/Vanessa, just to see the results. ^_^
4. Music style? I'm notoriously without taste in this area, but I'm generally fond of piano music, especially classical.
