Well, anyone who may be reading, welcome to a page that I'm not sure where it's going.  Ha ha.  Not in a bad way, mind you.  I'm just not usually a very blog-ish/Internety person (psst...I don't have Facebook, which definitely makes me a minority among my peers) and so I have no idea how much time I will end up devoting to this.  I have opened an account because I've had my eye on some discussions, mostly involving books, that I decided I would like to be able to add to, and so here I am.  As a new user, I welcome advice and hope for patience as I work my way out of whatever difficulties I may have accidentally put myself into lately.  As you may have seen, I haven't put a lot of time into my profile yet, nor the exhaustive time into making my computer do what I want it to as far as icons and userpics.  I plan to, eventually, but it may take a while for me to have the Internet time for it, since my studies come first.  Again, I crave patience and welcome advice.

I will say right up front that I love books and literature, and am always willing to put aside other things to read them, or discuss them.  Hooray for readers!

I'm looking forward to exploring the possibilities here.  See you around...at least in the virtual sense.
