"That's her prescription number? What would a dead woman need a prescription for?"

Blarghness. Another day, nothing advancing in my life. Sigh. Oh well.

I've been having trouble with my sleeping schedule (since I was sick) and now hopefully I got it under control. I didn't get any sleep Wednesday night and on Thursday I slept on and off between eleven-thirty and four, then I fell asleep between ten-thirty and eleven. Woke up at one-forty, went back to sleep before two and I've been awake since about five.

Today, let's see... Dunno what's going on tonight. I think a new Bleach and a new Naruto (whootness) and who knows what else. No ninjas for a while since TRB is going to be really busy. :-\ but oh well, nothing I can do about it. So for those of you who get annoyed at them, there's probably not going to be many ninja updates--if any at all--for a long time.

Tomorrow there's going to be a retirement dinner part for Harold but I'm not sure if I'm going. If David goes, I'll go, but if not, I dunno. I've been super tired all week long and I don't feel like moving right now. I haven't felt like moving at all this week. I almost don't want to go up tonight...

I've been doing some writing but it hurts my back so I haven't done as much as I'd like to. And I've been reading. I started and finished DWJ's "The Pinhoe Egg". I was really liking it but then out of no where came this anti-religion rant. I figure some people would say it's no big deal cause it's a fantasy place, a magical world--but it was still shocking to me cause really, it was a surprise. There was a short rant about 3/4s way through then a big rant near the end. So on one hand I really liked the book, even better than "The Magicians of Caprona" (which I thought was the worst Chrestomanci book) but on the other hand, that was annoying. Oh, and Jeremy, DWJ stands for Diana Wynne Jones :-)

Daniel let me borrow the first three Alex Rider books and the movie. I read the first one which was okay, then watched the movie which was pretty good (and let to an interesting conversation between me and David about Rubeus Hagrid being the Prime Minister and moonlighting as Hogwarts' gamekeeper or vice versa) and then I read the second book which was a lot better than the first. I really, really liked it but the ending DROVE ME BONKERS! No, literally, the exact ending. Everything was perfectly dandy until, literally, the past page. I nearly screamed in aggrivation. But I have my opinion on what happened but I'd have the spoil pretty much the entire book so I won't say anything.

I've restarted "Inkheart". I keep reading that Helen Mirren's in it and I couldn't remember who she'd play so I'm rereading that. After I finished "The Pinhoe Egg" I starting reading "Unexpected Magic" which has a bunch of DWJ's short stories. I've read, I think, seven or eight of them. Some of them are good, some of them are not. I'm also rereading "Fire and Hemlock" since that's my least favorite of her books. I've read it twice and neither of those times did I 'get' the book. I'd finish it then be like "Whaaaaaaa??" and be confused so this time I'm trying to keep my whole mind on the book, on the words and hopefully this time I'll "get" it. I like the idea of the story, the two paths of memory thing, and I love the "NOWHERE" thing. Both times I've read it and though "This is something I should like. At least not not like it!" so I'm wondering if it's the cover that bothers me since I don't like the cover.

I'm supposed to do the dishes before mom gets home. Then we're going to the store to get stuff for beef stew. I'm so tired and lazy, I don't want to move. :-( I just want to take a long hot bath (though I did already) and read. I'm also reading the third Alex Rider book but I dunno when I'll get books 4 and 5 since one of Daniel's friends is borrowing those. But I should go do the dishes. *sigh*

Quote I wanted to put up but it was too long:
"I think that's Edward Woodward.....Edward Woodward, the actor. He played 'The Equaliser' on TV." "The guy from 'The Equaliser' is being held by government scientists?" "No. I think, perhaps, somebody is having a bit of fun with you." "This 'Equaliser' guy, why is he messing with our heads?"
