freeganism?
I was waiting for my take-out a few days ago and grabbed a New York Press from a stack on the counter. Their cover story was a rolling eyes moment if I've ever had one.
"The activity is part of a larger social movement known as freeganism, which views capitalism as the primary force in destroying the environment and avoids the capitalist structure through such practices as eating discarded food, squatting in abandoned buildings instead of paying rent and refusing to hold a job. Am I missing something here? Seriously, who the fuck are these people? "Refusing to hold a job" is an option? Sounds like my old roommate.
