July 2007: The Month that Sucked

JULY 2007
I've been busy busy busy, but not over here at No Journal Left Behind. You remember, it's that Mission I have to read every journal on LiveJournal. I knew you would. Anyway, real life intruded into my Internet life, and my writing life, demanding that I have some face-to-face interactions as opposed to virtual and imagined ones. So, little progress this month. Miss you! We won't even begin to compare July's numbers with previous months. Bad news is, the first two weeks in August might be lacking too. Also, one day I wanted to update and LiveJournal had a blackout. Sheesh! What am I not paying you guys for?

Retroactive Friends Only
Lots of journals I've visited in previous months have since locked up their journals, or restricted comments. I can only guess that it is good natured need for privacy. But it was never my intention to scare people, and it makes me sad if they did so because of NoJoLB.

Journal of the Month of July Award
Few are called, even fewer will be chosen. In fact, none will be chosen! I don't think it's even worth giving out an award since there were only two nominees in July, lemone and kopo. So this is what I'm going to do: what I'm going to do is carry over their nominations into this month, August. They'll still be in it to win it about thirty days from now. Be there!
