I invoked my boundaries and decided not to account for one journal I read this batch. It just made me feel uncomfortable and I didn't think the guy would appreciate it. The world is not safe. I have to choose my spots but it makes me feel guilty for not staying true to the Mission.

461.imgoingdowntown is the only journal that lists "classroom historical simulation games" as an interest. Does RISK count? There is a lot here. I will probably have to stop by again. imgoingdowntown is like Philip K. Dick in training.
462.xiaoer is the first journal I've read used solely for commercial business.
463.helloairplanesx says some very heartfelt things about her mom.
464.allegedly GAWD! Chihuahua in a suit! Way back in September!
465.onenightinstars From a post in November 06 comes the sweetest story in retail history:
so i was working today, at the end of my shift, really tired, when my favorite customer (a handsome little boy about six maybe or seven? came in with his momma, and on their way out he said, 'here i have something for you!' and beckoned me to come closer and then gave me a big kiss on the cheek!

his mom was a little shocked and then took him outside and before he left the door, he chirped, 'i love you!' and then informed his mom of his love for me. i turned bright red and it totally made my week.
The image of the dead bee-eater made me think of the mystery of the disappearing bees again. Bees are dying en masse. In as little as two days hives are being emptied. The bees leave and never come back. They freeze in the cold. They're infected with weird fungi. It might be the bee version of AIDS. So if the bees don't survive, will the bee-eaters? The next step in the food chain?
466.verlaine comes up with lots of fun interactions for his journal-reading audience like asking them to post photos of their shoes as character descriptions. I created one of those friend tests verlaine talked about. It was specifically about my LiveJournal, not me. Everybody got mad at me because they had to do some research to score better than 50% on the quiz. I learned something about myself that day. I ask too much of people and don't give anything back. Ever. ※
