Things have gotten real quiet around here. It's kind of eerie.
I thought Capricorn wouldn't leave us alone but.... I dunno. Maybe he's plotting something.

Well, while I wait for something to happen I'd like to host a game of:

Finish My Sentence.

Don't know how to play? Go here for an example.

Go ahead and start your stories; I'm eager to read them~

He wanted to be a hero, wanted to make a difference to protect people, but he was unable to live up to the image he had hoped he would. Along the way he met many troubles, however if he just looked hard enough there were friends around, willing to help. One day, something happened, the world called out for a hero...

...And he foolishly thought he fit the bill. Toting a weapon that didn't belong to him, a uniform that he never earned, and a confidence solely stolen from his best friend, he managed to actually stumble his way through. It was a good thing his friends were there, to support him and fix his mistakes because...

It was a good thing his friends were there, to support him and fix his mistakes, because he made a lot of them. However this okay. Everyone makes mistakes. It's something many people had problem with: making mistakes, messing things up, just all around not doing things right; and though the people who make the mistakes may feel bad, their friends don't hold it against them.
You can't ask for a perfect score, a plan with out problems, or a precious stone without a scratch. It's asking for too much.
So, despite the fact that he may not be the perfect man for the job, at least this man made the attempt to do something help help save the people. His intentions were good. However, was that enough to...

...Gods, Meggie. Some mistakes are too big to be forgiven.

Was that enough to defeat the menace that had been threatening the Planet? Every step meticulously planned, the former leader of the world's largest known military unit lead this party of would-be heroes around, leading them from trap to trap. But the man was more stubborn than a chocobo with a personal grudge and more liable to strike back. He wouldn't give up, and he refused to let that man hurt his friends.

Unfortunately, he also had a very short attention span that compelled him to make multiple stops and side-trips along the way. On one of these trips...

What kind of mistake could be too big?

On one of these trips he came across an Inn. It was somewhat of a peculiar Inn, considering that...

It's...not important.

...not many non-geek people were around. Everyone there was obsessed with digging up dinosaur bones, and kept talking about 'the big one'. The man had to start throwing a few down pits to keep them from infecting him with the digging frenzy. One of the diggers were so obsessed that he...

If it bothers you it's important to me!

One of the diggers was so obsessed that he had started ranting about finding this 'big one.' He got so enthusiastic with his rant that he had knocked over the Man's pint, which spilled over and...

(ooc: I only know what Zack-mun has told me, and it wasn't much about the plot or setting of the game. WOE D: I do tend to take winging it to a new level. Either I'm fine or I epicly FAIL. )

...But nobody can be a hero without good friends, and more confidence in themselves. He found a great friend easily enough, but he still needed to learn to be more confident, and to not worry about everything so much.

Of course, this wouldn't be such a problem if he'd stop hurting his friends, and stop screwing up so royally. It didn't help that he couldn't really contemplate living as himself without his friend.

The man just has to realize that he'd never be really living without them. His friends would always be there, fighting with him. They may not have the same roles in the battle, but they would still be there, helping him. He needed to realize that pain, and screwing up was merely a part of life. It didn't mean he should worry about everything so much.
