“So Chen, what did you want to do today?”

“I don’t know, what did you want to do today?” Chen playfully hit Lay’s arm.

“Whatever my little cutie wants to do.” Lay smiled brightly at Chen who blushed.

“You’re so cheesy. Then do you want to watch a movie together?”

“Sure, what kind of movie?”

“Uh how about this one?” Chen pointed to one of the movies listed on the screen.

“Okay.” Lay smiled.

“You’re not going to fall asleep this time, are you?”

“No, of course not.”

“Good ‘cause I want to enjoy the movie with you.” Chen cuddled up next to Lay and hit the play button.

Jongdae smiled, making sure his two teddy bears were all settled before starting up the movie.

“ChenChen, what did you want to do today?” Lay bounced over to Chen, cuddling into his side.

“Hmm…I don’t know. What did you want to do?”

“Are you hungry? We could go out and get something to eat.”

“Eat what though? Any ideas?”

“Hmmm…I think there’s some ice cream in the fridge. Want to go eat that?”

“Sure.”

Jongdae smiled as he gathered up Chen and Lay and headed towards the pint of ice cream calling his name. He grabbed a spoon and sat down on the couch, teddy bears in his lap as he ate spoonful after spoonful.

“Lay~ I’m bored. What can we do?” Chen pouted, “No one is home but us.”

“Watch a movie?”

“Don’t wanna.”

“Play a game?”

“Nah, it’s no fun playing alone.”

“Want to get something to eat?”

“Not hungry.”

“Something to drink?”

“Not thirsty.”

“Sing?”

“Not in the mood.”

“Then I don’t know what to do.”

“Hmph, you’re no fun.” Chen crossed his arms.

“Well then, I’m going to take a nap.” Lay gave a tiny yawn before lying down.

“Hey! Don’t nap without me.” Chen immediately threw himself on top of Lay, getting as close to him as possible.

Jongdae rearranged Chen and Lay on the bed, making sure there was room for him to squeeze into. He decided to hold Chen and Lay in his arms as he took a well deserved nap.

“Lay, Lay, Lay!” Chen hurried over to Lay, clinging to his arm.

“What is it, ChenChen?”

“I have a surprise for you~”

“A surprise? For me?”

“Yes for you. But you need to close your eyes first.”

Lay obediently shut his eyes.

Chen stared at him a moment before slowly leaning in.

“What do you think you’re doing, Jongdae?”

Jongdae dropped his two teddy bears, eyes going towards the open doorway. Yixing stood there with an amused smile on his face.

“N-n-n-nothing. Nothing at all.”

“Oh really?” Yixing quietly closed the door as he stepped into the room. He walked over to where Jongdae was sitting on his bed.

“Yeah, I was just -“

“You were just playing with your teddy bears, Chen and Lay.”

“No…” Jongdae’s cheeks were quickly heating up.

“Yes, you were. Did you name them Chen and Lay after us?” Yixing looked at Jongdae with a raised brow.

“Well I mean this one is dressed like me during my solo at the concert and well this one…” Jongdae looked down at the other teddy bear in his hands.

“Jongdae…were you just pretending those two teddy bears were us?” Yixing slowly sat down next to Jongdae on the bed.

“I um…yes…” Jongdae quietly mumbled, eyes looking down in embarrassment.

“And why were you doing that?”

Jongdae’s cheeks heated up further, his mouth shut tight, refusing to answer.

“Jongdae…”

Jongdae mumbled something.

“What did you say?”

Jongdae mumbled again, a little louder this time.

“Jongdae~ what did you say?”

“I was lonely, okay?”

“Lonely, huh? And what? Were you hoping I’d be here to play with you?”

“No…well…maybe yes? But I knew you were busy so I knew you wouldn’t have time for me and well…”

Yixing chuckled as he gently placed a hand under Jongdae’s chin, lifting his face up to him. “Oh Jongdae, I always have time for you.”

He leaned in and pressed a kiss to Jongdae’s red cheek. Yixing pulled back with a grin. “Is this what you were going to make little Chen and Lay do before I interrupted the scene?”

“Uh…kind of…” Jongdae looked back down.

“Want to show me what you were planning on doing with the bears?”

“Oh…uh…sure?” Jongdae reached for the discarded teddy bears but was stopped by Yixing’s hands.

“Nope, you’re not using the bears this time. Show me yourself.”

“My-myself?” Jongdae’s eyes widened as he looked at Yixing’s beaming face.

“Yep. Now show me.” Yixing’s smile widened as he saw Jongdae falter for a moment, looking nervous before stealing himself and leaning in close. Jongdae paused a breath away from Yixing’s lips before leaning forward the rest of the way and pressing their lips together.

It was a short, sweet kiss but it had their stomachs fluttering.

“Oh, you’re so cute.” Yixing reached up and gently patted Jongdae’s cheeks.

“Yixing~” Jongdae whined, burying his red face in his hands.

“I’m so glad you like my gifts, though I didn’t know you would use them like this.” Yixing chuckled as Jongdae whined again, wiggling his body in embarrassment. “But maybe next time you want a fantasy fulfilled, you’ll come to me instead of using those teddy bears to act them out.”

“Yixing!” Jongdae buried his face into his pillow as Yixing’s laughter filled the room.

“You know, since you like playing with those teddy bears so much, maybe I should get you some more.” Yixing smiled, toying with Lay, as Chen cuddled close to his side, the TV playing some television show.

“No, I don’t want any other teddy bears.”

“Why not?” Yixing looked at Chen a bit puzzled. “Don’t you like teddy bears?”

“Yes, but I’m happy with just having Chen and Lay, just the two of them together forever.”

Yixing gave a quiet chuckle. “You’re so cute…and cheesy.”

Jongdae didn’t say anything, just burying his heated face into Yixing’s shoulder.

“But fine, if that’s the way you want it, we’ll keep it that way,” Yixing’s hand reached out, grabbing Jongdae’s hand and intertwining their fingers together, holding tight, “just Chen and Lay, together forever.”

one shot, chen/lay
