Title: Bounced Around
Pairing: Luhan/Tao

Length: 2778
Summary: Zitao and his friends always like to go to the club to unwind but the new bouncer is keeping them out of their favorite place. However, Zitao is determined to find a way past him.
Author's Note: Sorry if his antics are not outrageous enough...and well things kind of went awry when it came to the ending o.O

“Alright, everyone has their ids? Got on their mature attitude? Then we’re good to go.” Zitao straightened his spine, drawing himself up to his impressive height of 182 cm and headed towards the front of the line. He ignored all the people who had been waiting for over an hour to get into the club and headed right towards the bouncer. But instead of the usual bouncer being there, it was a new guy.

‘No matter, should still be easy to get in.’ Zitao gave the bouncer a once over before slowly smirking and stepping past. However, his wrist was caught in a firm grasp and he found himself looking directly at the bouncer.

“And just where do you think you’re going, young one?”

“Young one? Who are you calling young?”

“You, Mister Minor. Why don’t you and your friends go on home? It must be past your curfew.” The bouncer smirked as he pulled Zitao away from the entrance.

“Uh excuse you, but we don’t have a curfew since we’re old enough to be out so late.”

The bouncer just arched a brow and crossed his arms over his chest. “Uh huh, just go on home, little boys. This place isn’t for you.”

The bouncer made a shoo-ing motion before turning his attention back to the line.

Zitao growled, teeth clenched together.

“Come on, Tao. Let’s just find a different club.”

“No, I don’t want to go to a different club. We’ve always been able to go to this club and we will be able to go to this club.” Zitao narrowed his eyes as he looked back at the bouncer that had denied them entrance. The bouncer caught his eye and smirked, making another shoo-ing motion with his hands. Zitao’s teeth ground together as he turned on his heel and headed home, knowing he wouldn’t get in tonight.

The next time Zitao and his friends headed back to the club, that annoying bouncer from last time was already there. "He's there again."

"Are we going to get in this time?"

Zitao's gaze hardened. "Yes, and if he doesn't, we're taller and stronger and faster than him. We can easily overpower him and get in."

"Alright..." Kai gave an uneasy look. "We'll follow behind you."

"Alright, let's go.” Zitao walked with confidence to the front of the line, flashed a smile and tried to slip past.

A firm grip on his forearm kept him from walking any further. “And where do you think you’re going?”

Zitao found himself looking down at the annoying bouncer’s smirking face. “Into the club.”

“Think again. You’re heading home. You and your friends.” The bouncer looked behind Zitao to his group of friends, some frowning and some looking sheepish. They moved out of the line at the bouncer’s signal while Zitao waited with his hands on his hips.

“Look here, mister. You have no right to keep us out of this club.”

“I do if you’re underaged, which all of you are. And the name’s Luhan. Remember it.” Luhan winked. “I’m the one that’ll be keeping an eye on you,” his eyes scanned Zitao up and down, “Zitao.”

Zitao’s hands clenched into fists at his side.

“Come on, Zitao. Let’s just go.” His friend came up, resting a light hand on his arm. “If we can’t get into this club, let’s just go to another.”

“No.”

Kai’s grip tightened on his arm. “I am not having another night ruined by us not getting into a club. We are going to a different club now. Just forget this club.”

Zitao pouted. “But you know this is my favorite club.” “Try another time,” Kai glanced over at the smirking bouncer, “preferably when he isn’t here. Alright?” Zitao rolled his eyes. “Fine, we’ll go but I’m coming back because I will get into this club again.” Zitao narrowed his eyes in challenge at Luhan. Luhan smiled and mouthed back, “Good luck with that.” Zitao clenched his teeth and turned swiftly on his heel, his imaginary long hair flipping behind him.

Zitao was back at the club the next week, prepared to get into the club this time. Third time’s the charm, right?
He was dressed in his usual clubbing attire, form fitting black clothes, designed to show off his well-toned physique. His friends had dropped him off at the club, not wanting to be denied again, but Zitao was determined to get past Luhan and get into this club. It had already been way too long since he had last step foot into the club and he was getting frustrated, being denied his favorite place to let loose. He had already scanned the front of the line when the taxi had driven past. Luhan was already in position at the front of the line, letting people pass or denying those deemed unworthy for the club.

Zitao had checked out the line, looking for the perfect place to blend in and be able to slip in unnoticed into the club. There was a large group of guys and girls, busy talking and laughing, near the middle of the line. He figured that would be the best place to slip in and get in without too much attention.

Adjusting his attitude, Zitao slipped into line, mingling into the crowd. They didn’t seem to notice, happy to have another person join their party, and they continued to laugh and talk as the line moved forward towards the entrance.

Zitao smiled when he saw the entrance right in front of him. As the group moved forward, Zitao let their momentum sweep him in but instead of dim lights and pounding music, Zitao was still standing inside as the group got swallowed up into the club. He looked down at the hand gripping his forearm, keeping him from entering the club. As he followed the hand to the arm to the chest to the face, he was met with Luhan’s smirking grin. “And just where do you think you’re going?"

He was pulled out of line and away from the entrance, Luhan standing smug before him, arms crossed over his chest. Zitao had a frown on his face as he matched Luhan’s stance. “I was going to a club until I was so rudely pulled out of line."

“And you were rudely pulled out of line because you have no place at the club. You’re underaged unless you somehow miraculous gained a few years since I last saw you.”

“I’ll have you know that -"

“That nothing. Just go on home. You’re wasting your time and my time by trying to get into this club. Go home, little boy. Come back in a few years and maybe you’ll get in."

“I’m not leaving. You have no right to keep me out."

“I do if you’re underaged which you are. Now stop wasting both of our time and go home." Luhan turned around and resumed his post at the head of the line.

Zitao stood and watched as Luhan allowed or pulled people from the line, noticing how different his treatment of those guests versus his treatment of him. He didn't think it was fair at all (but he forgot to note that he put up more of a struggle than most of the people Luhan pulled out of line). He turned on his heel and left, still determined to get into the club at a later date.

"Dude, give it up. You're not going to get in with that bouncer there." Kai gave his friend a pitying look. "Just come with us to a different club. We found a better place to chill that allows us to get drinks too."

"Only because the bartender likes your ass." Sehun piped up next to him.

"Hey, whatever lets us get free drinks, I'm cool with."

"Even when he sticks his tongue down your throat in a dark corner of the club?" Sehun smirked. Everyone grabbed a hold of something as Kai jerked the steering wheel. “Whoa, watch it, man. We all still want to live here."

“Sorry,” Kai gave them a sheepish look as he corrected his car and continued driving to the club.

Sehun checked his hair in the mirror. “Plus we need you to stay alive to get us those free drinks. Now if you can drive properly again, let’s head off to the club."

“Don’t forget to drop me off.” Zitao piped up from the backseat.

Kai rolled his eyes. “Fine. But I’m telling you that you’d have a better night if you came with us instead of trying to get into that club."

“Let me worry about my night, okay?” Zitao smiled and waved as he descended from the car. “I’ll see you guys later."

“Okay, good luck.” The two waved and drove off to a different club.

Zitao looked at the long line and decided to fuck it and went straight towards the front. As he got closer to the front, he noticed Luhan checking some IDs so he quickly slipped through the group towards the entrance.

“And just where do you think you’re going?"

Zitao looked down to find Luhan smirking at him, hand wrapped tight around Zitao’s wrist. He glanced behind him to see a different bouncer (the one that normally let Zitao and his friends through) handling the line as Luhan pulled him out of the way and towards an alley next to the club.

“How many times are you going to try this same dumb stunt? I already told you you’re not getting in.” Luhan had Zitao backed up against a wall, the young boy still unaware of the situation as he continued to just glare at the other. His hand was unconsciously rubbing his wrist as his bottom lip jutted out the slightest in a small pout.

“Why are you being so difficult about this? What’s wrong with letting me into the club?"

Luhan leaned in close, causing Zitao to back up, his head hitting the wall behind him. “One, you’re underaged and underaged people are not allowed into the club."

“Two,” Luhan leaned even closer, lips a tantalizing breath away, “it’s too dangerous for someone like you to be in this club."

Zitao opened his mouth to protest but Luhan’s finger covered his mouth to stop him. "There are all kinds of dangerous people in this club, just waiting to eat such a delectable person like you. How can I protect you if I can’t see you?"

“Wh-wh-what?” Zitao’s eyes widened as Luhan pressed closer, their bodies lightly touching.

“Three, I’m not allowing you into that club to meet people when I just want you for myself."

“What?!?!??” Zitao’s voice rose an octave as he stared at Luhan.

Luhan pressed close to Zitao so that no breeze could get between them. His hand came up to gently cup Zitao’s jaw. “You have no idea how much I want to kiss you right now, but,” Luhan smiled as he pressed a quick kiss to Zitao’s cheek, “you’re underaged and I’m still working. Give me your number and I’ll take you out to a meal. And when you’re old enough, I’ll take you to the club to enjoy yourself."

Zitao wordlessly handed over his phone, still in shock over what was happening. Luhan quickly input his number and called his phone to get Zitao’s. He pressed another quick kiss to Zitao’s cheek. “I’ll message you later. Now go on home."

Luhan took a chance and gently pat Zitao’s ass which seemed to have woken up the boy from whatever trance he was in. “I-You-"

“Shhh,” Luhan smiled and winked. “I’ll see you later."

Zitao slumped against the wall and quickly dialed a number. “I’m coming to meet you guys now. Where are you?"

Kai sprouted off the name and Zitao quickly made his way over. It was easy for him to get into the club and he found his friends easily, all crowded around the bar. He slid into an empty seat next to Sehun and gladly accepted the shot glass. He knocked it back in one gulp and made a face as it burned down his throat. “Ugh, what was that?"

“Do you really want to know?"

Zitao shook his head. “But thanks for the shot. I needed that after what I went through."

“What happened this time?"

“I think I got hit on by Luhan."

“What!??!!? He hit on you?” Sehun stared at Zitao.

“Yeah…I’m not really sure what happened. He pulled me out of the line again. This time I tried to just get in from the beginning."

“You jumped the line?!!?!"

Zitao glared at his friend. “I was trying to see if I could get past his guard but obviously it failed. He took me into the alley and then…he…he got my number."

“What?” Sehun looked at Zitao puzzled. “You’re not making any sense."

“The whole thing didn’t make any sense. Give me tomorrow and then I’ll tell you what I remember. For now, let me have another shot."

Sehun signaled to Kai who smiled at the bartender who passed him another shot that was passed down to Zitao. Zitao took it with a grateful smile but before he could take it, a hand covered his. He followed the arm to the person it was attached to and felt his mouth drop open in surprise.

“I tell you to go home and this is where you go?” Luhan arched a brow as he took the shot from Zitao and downed it himself. “I think someone needs to keep you on a leash."

“But don’t worry,” Luhan leaned in close, lips pressed to Zitao’s ear, “I’ll make sure you have plenty of lead to have some fun, but you’ll always come back to me."

Zitao’s eyes widened as Luhan beamed at him. “Come on. I’m taking you home. I think you’ve done enough damage for now."

Sehun and Kai could only stare as they watched their friend being led out of the club by the bouncer that kept him out of his favorite club. “Do you think we should go after him?"

“Nah, I think he’ll be fine."

“You’re right about that. Luhan’s one of the trustworthiest guys around. No funny business with him.” The bartender smiled at the duo. “Now, can I get you another drink?"

“Yeah, yeah…thanks.” Kai and Sehun each took a glass and toasted to their missing friend, wishing him good luck. He finally had a keeper to make sure he didn’t get into too much trouble and this left the two of them free to relax. They downed the glass in one shot and happily accepted the second from the bartender.

After a few minutes of coaxing, Luhan finally found out Zitao’s address and was able to drive him home. He helped him to the door, arm wrapped around his waist as Zitao tried his best to walk to his apartment. Zitao didn’t want to admit it but that one shot had disoriented him. He wasn’t that much of a lightweight but something about that shot had gone straight to his head.

Zitao pointed to a door and the two made it there without any missteps.

“Keys?"

“In my pocket."

“Can you get them or shall I?"

Zitao indicated to his pocket. “Go right ahead."

Luhan reached into Zitao’s pocket and pulled out his keys. It took a few tries until he got the door unlocked. “Can you get inside alright or do you need help?"

“Help."

The two entered the apartment and with a little guidance from Zitao, Luhan was able to lead him to bed. Zitao collapsed on the bed and snuggled into the blankets. “Alright, I’m going to leave your keys on the bedside table and head out. But I’ll message you tomorrow. Good night, Zitao."

Luhan brushed back some of his hair and gently kissed his forehead.

“Mmm…thank you…Luhan."

Luhan smiled fondly as he continued to stroke Zitao’s hair a bit longer.

“You know…you’re so hot…but you’re annoying when you wouldn’t let me into the club.” Zitao pouted in his sleepy state.

Luhan chuckled. “You’re too cute, Zitao. I should go before I forget the rules."

He placed one last kiss on Zitao’s forehead and left, scribbling a little note to put next to Zitao’s keys.

You’re so cute when you sleep. Actually, you’re cute in general but you really should listen. It’s for your own good but don’t worry. I’ll train you to listen. Hope you had a good sleep and feel better in the morning. If not, I’ll be by later to make sure you feel better and then we’ll go out on a proper date, okay? - Luhan

one shot, luhan/tao
