It was a really good weekend. Friday was my and Edwin's super awesome October anniversary, the only anniversary (besides the year one) that we celebrate. We went to Tempe and watched Repo! The Genetic Opera at the Madcap theaters. I don't think I'll ever think of that movie the same, not with some of the super nerdy comments that followed some of the songs. "I've been living a liiiieeee" - "He's gay?!" Oh man. This was followed up by a short freak show outside. Some guy lit a firecracker in a can, dropped his pants, and blew it up over his junk... haha, no lie. I don't know why, but I totally took a video of it on my cell phone. I think my favorite part was right after that happened the girl in front of me said to her friend, "Oh my god, give him some money!"

On Saturday we went to Madison Park to hang out with a bunch of people, mostly Zuter's friends, but Sarah and Jessie came with us, and then Mike Rose and Ricky were there. The boys all played kick ball while me and Sarah played some soccer in the distance. I've never liked real team sports and I can't get into them, so I didn't even bother trying to play kickball... sometimes I feel a little left out when it comes to stuff like that, but on the other hand I can't bring myself to care because I'm not going to do something I don't like. I didn't play any drinking games either, since I have exams this week and I brought my textbook to study for my Bio class... just like Sarah brought her Calculus homework, haha. I swear school sucks the life out of everyone.

Afterwards we all went to Denny's and then back to our place to play some Apples to Apples. Mike promptly passed out on the floor, so I left him a note on his cell phone to stick around in the morning because EJ wanted to make chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast. And he did. And they were amazing.

Yesterday, Sunday evening, I had a chance to go and visit my aunt's house and see my little cousins again. It's been a super long time since I've seen them - a couple of months, I think. When I saw Katja last I gave her my copy of The BFG by Roald Dahl - I found out that not only did she do her school book report on it, but she also got an A+. Kyra was being super shy at first, but she finally warmed up and came downstairs. Kim and her husband made us an awesome dinner (and chocolate cake for dessert!), and all of us decorated some pumpkins.

Krya doesn't know what to paint.
