I start school at ASU on Monday. I am excited, and I am terrified, but most of all I am excited. On Thursday I went ahead and bought my U-Pass, so now I'm set for taking the light rail to campus every day. Yesterday's adventure involved reading and hearing this really high, feminine singing. And I'm sorry about your grandmother (I just got done backtracking LJ entries) and about your friend. Boys are really, really stupid sometimes - I don't even know what was going through his head when he went to your house aksjdhaksdf. That just makes me mad.

So is your grandfather all moved in with you guys yet? How is that all working out? Is your mom doing okay?

it's all right. my mom is doing fine. i think it helped that she knew it was coming rather than it just happening unexpectedly.

and my grandpa isn't moved in with us yet. i don't know when that is going to happen. he kind of wants to stay in the house still (for about a year?) just so he can come to terms with leaving his life there since, he's lived there for over 60 years. which is totally understandable.

i hope to talk/see you soon. it always feels like we need to catch up, lmaoasdkjn!

I'm glad that she's doing okay. It's crazy to think about living in the same place for over 60 years. I couldn't imagine doing that myself, so I guess it makes a lot of sense that he wants to stay there a while longer. What exactly happened to your grandmother? Was she just really sick, or was it a medical complication? Sorry if you posted about it in your journal already. :|

Man, I know! It seems that there is just so much going on all the time, and since we don't live by each other/chat on AIM often it's always like WHOA. Sooooo much happening. I say it all the time, but I really should update more/come on LJ more if only to keep in better touch with you.

i think she had liver cancer from drinking, and that's what got her since she didn't have it taken care of when she first started getting symptoms.

it is weird to think of living in the same place for so long.. i don't think i could do it either, to be honest.

i should probably just start emailing you more often. even if it is just random or what i did during the day. it seems like the best/quickest way to keep in touch so we don't always have this gap of 'omgsomuchgoingon!'.
