what an amazing day. woke up early to pick up mike and meet the rest of the improv team at delong for sixth grade workshops. worked with 3 different sections, and all of them were relatively small for 8 of us to handle. sixth graders are ridiculous sometimes though. did the traditional olive garden, soup/salad/breadsticks lunch afterwards. we were all so sleepy and full afterwards that we just went to mike's house and napped for the rest of the afternoon (yes, we were lazy today and didn't go to school. whatever.) came back to school right after seventh hour was done for improv practice, and for some reason we just did really serious scenes and they were super dramatic and we loved it. it was awesome to know that we could be so good at theatrics but not rely on humour to do it. we were basing all of our scenes and characters off of a book of paintings mrs. d. brought it, and it really helped. everyone was so excited about it, and i think it was a nice change from practicing with the B team. they're so loud and high energy sometimes that its just too much.
came home and my mood went to shit. my dad starts getting pissed off that i don't know exact numbers and figures about my parents' income and i'm trying to fill out this CSS profile and he's yelling at me. he wants this done, but then refuses to help me. whatever.
leaving tomorrow at noon for milwaukee orchestra trip. should be okay, despite only 21 kids going on the trip. stephanie and i got our own room, so we're stoked. it'll just be nice to be with a small group of people for a while instead of a huge trip like it normally is.
