what an AMAZING day!!! so i got up around 8 this morning..got ready and my dad and i went and picked ceci, missy and em up at missys house and headed down to wellesley, masss for the 13 mile jimmy fund walk. we got to wellesley around 10-10:15ish..my dad stayed until mrs bradley and chuck and mrs derosa and everyone got to the 13 mile mark. we all got lunch and then we started the walk. they called our team name (Team Cecily) and we were off. we all started off at a REALLY good pace..pretty fast actually. the walk itself was pretty much amazing! ahahah quite a few funny parts..
ceci was pinning her bib number onto her shirt and there was a tree branch hanging out at about the height of her head..and i thought she was going to look up or at least see it..but no she didn't..so walked RIGHT into the branch!!!! AHAH!! omg you would probably have to have been there to really have that effect of funniness..but yeaa
missy was walking..and i saw a REALLY nice car on the other side of the street..so i told missy to look and she did..and well she kinda walked into a parking meter..and of course i looked back at the PERFECT time to see her wlak RIGHT into it and go OOOF!! ahahhahahah omg it was hilarious!!
so those basically were what made my day..and when we walked by fenway there was a pats game going on..and ceci said she could tell they were winnign and i couldn't figure out how but turns out she said she hoped they were winning...i'm smart. lol..we got to the 26 mile mark and the food and everything and we were done!! we finished! what a relieft when you see that gate in copply square! we were ALL so sore..we ate pizza and left. i went home with ceci and her mom..we got to the car and the first thing we did was take off our shoes and socks..such a relief after! we could move our feet! ahah so i have only two blisters..not bad thank god! but tomorrow we're all going to be SO incredibly sore!!! those stairs are goin to be a BITCH to go up!! ahha o wellll...it was fun and worth it!!
