They have an egg delivery service, here; these guys think of everything.

[arranging the eggs delicately!] One's called a Starly, the other's an Eevee-- the same one as Lea.

And the last one [a dramatic pause here as he gives you a mischievous look] is supposed to be some sort of mushroom.

Some kind of a bird, I think. I put the name into the 'dex while I was browsing the list they had for the breeding center.

I figured that if we're going to be breeders, we might as well have a selection. [aaaaand guess who's still a little uncomfortable with the whole idea of breeders, sob.]

Just about. [he takes the opportunity to fish the guidebook out from his satchel.] It's actually a lot more complicated than I thought it was, what, with the 'egg moves' and the compatibilities to think about.

Yeah. It seems like breeding is easy to do if you don't care too much about the technicalities... but if you want to do a good job of it, there's a lot of little details to think about.

It's more interesting than I thought it'd be.
