[Okay, it's time. Slowly, slowly, she reaches under her matress and pulls out the blue lycra leotard. and stupid hat She reaches into her trunk and lifts out the heavy gauntlets. And then stares at them. But she has to do this.

She crosses the room and locks the door, undressing slowly. And then she pulls them on. The tights. The leotard. She straps ( Read more... )

[Trowa has been guarding the school every night, with Heavyarms, ever since the night Taylor got stabbed. When he sees Rea leave, dressed in the uniform again, he's worried. There's no question of him not following her. He will do so from a distance, however, and he will use Heavyarms to track her from the air.

When he sees the lair, he lands Heavyarms and conceals it. He's left its defensive systems operational, so that it will attack any unauthorised individuals who get too close. He'll follow on foot from here on in, and he'll watch. This is dangerous, and Rea is...

Rea is worth saving. He won't interfere, so long as she's safe. If things go bad, he'll do what he can to get her out of here alive.]

She certainly is. Which is why he isn't alone this night. A section of what looked like shrubbery moves in the darkness, and suddenly the barrel of a rifle is pointed at the boy.

Martial skills were ingrained into Von Hammer since he was a boy. He can, when required, move like a wraith.

"Friend or foe?" The voice is terse, ready to shoot. This is not a voice that knows fear very easily.

[Trowa freezes. Blast it all, he doesn't want to fight here. And he doesn't want to fight whoever is pointing a gun at him, since it'll draw Bison's attention and probably put Rea in more danger. He's still holding his gun, though, and he knows he's quick. He'll make it a fight if he has to.]

...*Her* friend. [He speaks quickly and softly. It's not the first time he's been held at gunpoint, and he doesn't fear it.]

There is only the slighest hesitation, then the barrel of the gun points away from him. The man steps forward, blue eyes watching him carefully.

"Excellent. I had begun to fear that none of her other comrades would come."

He is wearing his WWI uniform, devoid of all medals. Medals can gleam. The buttons are dull brass, not reflective at all. The rifle is a heavy number, the business-like sort used by soldiers. No prancing sporting gun.

"We have to get her out. He has few guards out this way. I have located two of them. I suspect there is a third."

[heero comes out of the shadows] Three. [he doesn't trust that this man won't be leading them into a trap]

He doesn't jump. Mildly surprised, perhaps, but he is a man trained by two wars to see the approach of danger from out of nowhere whilst surrounded by the chattering of machine guns. He nods, slowly.

"Then we eliminate them and move in. Engage Bison if we have to, but we get her out, first and foremost."

He gives Heero a good looking over.

"It appears Rea has more friends than I had suspected. Good."

[Trowa's eyes move to Heero for a moment and he nods to him. He shouldn't be surprised. If Heero had taken off in the middle of the night, Trowa would have followed him too.

He looks back at Von Hammer.]

Where are these guards stationed? We will need an entrance.

...and we must hurry. He will kill her. I will not allow that to happen.

He drops down, picking up a stick and sketching a box, representing the house, in the dirt.

"We are here." He draws a quick circle. "Bison's western guards - the ones we need to face - are here," he draws an x, "and here," another one is drawn, "and here."

He draws the final one.

"We hit them, move in. Ground floor window. He does not strike me as the sort to have guards inside, but we will watch anyways."

And he nods at Trowa.

"He will. I had hoped to get here before she entered."

[Heero studies the plan, if they were quiet in dealing with the guards they would not draw any unnecessary attention to themselves ahead of time] The second one will need to be dealt with quickly. He will see us coming

"Yes, he will."

He hefts the rifle.

"I will down him. Will you each be able to handle one?"

heavyarms_tro February 25 2011, 00:41:53 UTC
Affirmative. [Trowa looks at Heero.] I will go around.

[Back to Von Hammer now.]

When we break the window. What then? We'll have limited time. [His own plan had been to rush at Bison and distract him, so that Rea could get away. With three of them, they could do better than that.]

You two get Rea out. I will guard the retreat.

"The trouble is that the longer we stay the worse it shall be. If we stay to fight Bison, we will die. If not from him, then from his guards."

He checks the rifle, pulling the bolt back and sliding it home.

"Speed, that is the key. Hard, and fast. Distract Bison, get Rea, get out. And what I would not give for some of my squardon to blast his home to smithereeens on the way out."

Our Gundams have brought entire armies down alone. They could level this fortress, I have no doubt.

[His expression is set] We should mobilise. Take them down. I will grab her, and if I can, I will kill him for what he has done to her.

Set bombs [heero says calmly] that will distract and kill his guards, we can set them off as we leave

If we can harm him, then all the better. But he will not be easy to kill. I have heard what he did to Faith. If we can so much as wound him then retreat in good order, it will be enough.
