I am in Bellingham, Washington. I'm an undergraduate at Western.
In the last five months I have demystified the recycling system, seen eight deer, and now attach my personal pronouns when introducing myself to people. I remember to grab cloth bags for shopping. I have developed a crippling addiction to breve lattes and the soup they serve in Miller’s Market.
I'm happy here. I wake up in the morning and I breathe just fine.
I haven't really written - not anything I wasn't getting a grade for. I think that's okay. I still read and still plot away in the back of my head, in elevators and on the bus. It's coming back.
