mommabear asks:

1) If there is one thing that you would go back and do over in your life, what would it be? and why?

Honestly not much; perhaps a pattern of behavior I still can't quite define that complicated some important relationships.

2) What's the one thing you would change about your current living situation, and why?

Some minor electrical and carpentry work, and I really cant complain about my living situation. The place is diesel, I like my roommate and the cat, and I've made more progress and accomplished more personal goals in three months here than a year at my previous dwelling.

3) Out of all your friends, which one would you want to spend more time with, and why?

This one's a downer. A friend of mine who passed away way too early a few years ago. There's a few people I miss a lot right now, but I will see them again.

4) Explain the signifigance of at least 3 of your tattoos, and what the personal reasons were for getting them.

One, my first, the coptic cross on my belly. I had a necklace of the same symbol, and I never wanted to lose it so it seemed the appropriate first tattoo. Turned out to be a good idea as the necklace was confiscated during an arrest a year or so later. The placement is almost purely narcissistic. Two, the wooden star around my right nipple. I remember as a kid walking into my aunt's house and seeing a large pentagram woven of twigs hanging on the wall. The idea changed a bit talking to the artist, and gained significance when the piece became a birthday present. Three has spawned some curiousity so I may as well out with it. The ctrl, alt, and del buttons are a commentary, a personal reminder and a disguised tribute to the scoundrel of the Egyptian pantheon.

5) If theres one thing that you want to accomplish within the next year, what would it be? In the next 5 years? Next 10?
Withing one year I'd like to be done with the mural on my back. Within 5, I'd like to be well into school or a personal business venture, and ten years from now I just want to be happy and healthy.
