Holy heck. I do believe we may have stumbled on a possible connection. It's more than possibly that Umbrella had a sample of Wesker's blood around so they played around with it.
You know, I actually like that if we look at it in that particular light. It does make sense. In an essence, Wesker would be combating himself, which may serve as an interesting fight sequence between the two. Provided such a face off does happen.
Yeah, the more I look at it, I can take that as a possible plot point. In many films when there is an 'evil' or in this case an 'evilER' clone involved, they are usually the antithesis of the original copy, so you can see the white coat, bald hair, infected skin, glasses that conceal more, inhuman physical proportions and of course, the mutoid DNA that Wesker has *though it may not be a virus because we know what the T-Virus does to human subjects, though Wesker perhaps had some sort of other treatment beforehand to counterpoint that, but that's another element of the argument completely*. Add to that the 'clone' works for Wesker's former affiliates, and thus, a direct adversary.
Exactly, what's what I was thinking. The whole white coat, the shades or whatever they are, the cloned skin (because I'm thinking cloning technology when working with viruses isn't going to give you an exact copy of the original) and the fact that well, yeah, he's got alot of similarities as far as the facial structures go. That=possible clone if I ever heard one...
Not to mention that as far as Wesker is concerned, we don't even know WHAT virus he has yet...and who knows, maybe it was all in his genes that allowed him to continue to look the way he does...perhaps another reason Umbrella decided to clone him saying they did as well...
So you're saying that even before Wesker injected himself with the solution that brought him back from death he had some sort of genetic make up prior to all of this? Either he was BORN with it *likely, but that would be TOO easy* or else he and Birkin were working together before the outbreak. Given he gave Birkin knowledge about his upcoming defection, perhaps he requested Birkin to treat him with a variety of genetic solutions and as time went on and as Wesker's body balanced out these things, the experiments got further advanced. Perhaps that could explain why Wesker has almost always wore those shades; one of the serums perhaps made his eye sight ultra sensitive to light, like photosensitivity.
Good point about the shades, and yeah, I'm just saying he could have had good genes because my thoughtful mind atm isn't able to come up with anything else LoL :P
But yeah, treatments, experiments, I'm sure that's all the more likely explanation than he just had 'good genes', as I'd said, my tired brain's simply looking for the easy way out atm haha ^_^ ~bout to go to bed soon~
But yeah, you have to admit...Birkin...working on Wesker's DNA...hmmm...gee, I wonder where the blood sample came from...? haha :P
Not only were the two scientists, but it was obvious that they WERE friends to some capacity *Not like the two Coreys though :P* But I digress.
If you really wanted to blow the Titanic out of the water, you could infer that Wesker was perhaps ENGINEERED by Umbrella, grown, I guess you could say. Then again, perhaps that would be going too far.
