The music people call groundbreaking today just blows my mind. I'm thinking of two groups who have just released new albums, Isis and Converge. People seem to fawn upon these groups for reasons I can't understand. Both bands are utterly devoid of a sense of humor (not always a bad thing) and also ridiculously self important in their mission to bore

first of all, i love this. well written. it's all so true and i laughed a lot, especially at "who commonly offer "limited edition" packages for new albums that include shirts, hoodies, record mats, shopping bags, coat hangers, and commemorative mugs." hahah
