I saw Blackout and another band with Nathaniel in it whose name I never heard spoken. Last night. It was a lot of fun, but unfortunately I had to leave earlier and didn't catch all of Blackout's set. I felt vaguely like a hero because i changed Nathaniel's guitar string for him. Those are some fantastic kids, those Blackout folks.
Lightning Bolt is coming in a week and a day. I am so freaking excited that I don't even know what to think. They're newer stuff is very melodic compared to the older stuff, and I think it's great. Everyone, go. 9 a clock, Drunken Unicorn. Guaranteed to be the best show you've ever been to.
