"Amazing still it seems I'll be 23
I won't always love what I'll never have
I won't always live in my regrets"
-New Jimmy Eat World
I love those couple of lines. They almost seem familiar. Maybe it's because I'm 23 and can relate on some working level, regardless of depth or circumstances. I love love love this new album. It's definately not my fav of the material that they've produced so far, but it does stand pretty well on its own. There are parts that are new/strange/unfamiliar and other parts that are undisputably "Jimmy." If it had a taste I would imagine it to be something similar to that of sour patch kids: shocking and new at the first taste but the same sweet Jimmy underneath.
Tiffy's annual beach bonfire last night was a lot of fun. I love excuses to see familiar faces outside the context of Corona. I need to seriously think about investing in a digital camera. I have been holding off on purpose though. I've always liked real film in real cameras better I guess. It just seems more...more nostalgic?...more permanent?...more tangible?
