You know, this place never ceases to amaze me. Back home, we had radio silence. Broadcasting has been impossible almost my entire life. Television programming didn't even existTV is amazing technology. When we lost it, the whole world regressed. We had to rely on news being carried on foot and delivered by train. So why don't you watch one of those other things instead?

[Not going to admit she kind of likes Top Model. Nope.]

I do, but my mom is always watching those things and hogging the damn TV!

You're sure you're not sitting and watching it yourself, Nida-san?

Hell no, I have more important things to do.

Like complain about it on the internet.

What's so wrong about those?

[Not that she really has her interest peeked by them in their meaning. But more of a third party observer. Kind of... trying to get it, herself.]

Man, it's like having GFs and then only using them to plant flowers.

[...Huh?]

...What's a GF?

...Oh. Right. I guess those don't exist everywhere.

Guardian Forces. Powerful spirits that come at your call and do your bidding. Totally turned the tides of several wars in my world's history.

I'll say. I wonder if home was just as bad before we lost television for 17 years.

Long story. Has to do with sorceresses. Radio transmission became impossible, basically.

You think that's bad, you should listen to some of the music around here.

Pop, rap and country just give me a headache listening to them -but there's tons of it!

Oh man, don't even get me started on music. We don't have radio back home either, and I am not impressed by its usage here.

You can find some good stuff hunting around on the internet, though. I guess that makes up for it.

Not even radio?

Most of the worlds I saw before here had at least radio.

But yeah, good music's hard to find. I like rock though.

Radio silence, man. All radio waves were blocked. I mean, we have radio technology, it just hasn't worked in 17 years.

Rock's always been my favourite. But even I have to admit that this world does have some catchy pop music. Have you heard Lady Gaga yet? I can't get that shit out of my head every time I hear it, god damn.

That's one hell of an assumption to make you know. Personally I prefer cartoons.

Acceptable. Adventure Time is a worthwhile use of this technology.

Adventure Time's all right, but I'm more of a Looney Toons and Tom & Jerry kind of guy.

Jerry's kind of a dick, though.

Man, I need to get my mom off the TV more often so I can watch this stuff. Daffy Duck vs Tyra Banks is no contest, man.
