Only cool kids do it in the dark...
Well this morning I got dressed in the dark. No, I didn't forget to pay my power bill. Some idiot (possibly drunk) decided at 9:45pm last night to take out our power pole with his skidding car. He didn't completely sever the power at first so half of my apartment had power while the other half was dark. It was weird to say the least. I continued to play more of Dark Alliance before heading to bed for the night.
When I woke up at 5:20am, it was pitch black in my apartment. The power company had severed the connection at some point after I fell asleep. I grabbed my cellphone and created an event reminder to serve as my wakeup call. Thankfully last night wasn't too cold as I didn't wake up shivering.
Still, it was amusing getting dressed this morning. I had my big flashlight propped on my pillow to shine across the room while I got ready. Good thing I didn't need a shower this morning as I don't think I would have survived one in totally cold water.
