Helloween tickets!

Since I didn't hear back from David via the Helloween forum, I decided to try out a Broker Service that buys Japan concert tickets for people in other countries. I sent them an email before leaving work today asking them to obtain the tickets for the three Helloween concerts in Japan.

An hour ago I checked my email and found one from the company. It seems they found all three tickets and sent me a quote with the price. Two of the tickets were at the price I saw them listed on a Japan website (8000 yen) while the third was really high. They explained in the email that the February 15th concert is sold out and they had to look for the ticket on the resale market. In other words, scalping or auctions. The price they listed for the show was 25000 yen which equates to around $210 or so. I love Gamma Ray but I don't love them that much. Not unless that ticket price includes partying with the band ;)

Anyway, I wrote them back telling them to not get the 15th show ticket and to just get the other two. The other two shows are still on sale so I don't foresee a problem with that request.

If I had known better, I would have got my Iron Maiden ticket from them as well. Even with their 30% commission charge, it still would have been cheaper than Mosiaco World was. Ah well, you have to make mistakes in order to learn from them so that's what I'm doing.
