Friday Five
1. How far back can you trace your family tree? Only 3 generations on my dad's side and none on my mom's as she was adopted.
2. What is the most interesting (or strange) thing you've heard about one of your relatives? According to my late grandma, my great-great-grandfather wrote the story for Rin Tin Tin. I don't know if it's true or not. Or if it's referring to the TV script version or the actual book version.
3. How do you feel about legacy names like John Henry Smith IV or naming children after other relatives? It's ok I guess. My middle name is the same as my grandma's.
4. Would you consider yourself and/or your family to be traditional? Not really.
5. What is one tradition you have passed on to your children and/or plan to pass on to them? The chances of me having children at this point are slim to none but if I did maybe the tradition that my grandma did on Christmas. She'd get someone to go out of the room and ring bells signally Santa arrived. Yeah it's pretty generic but I thought it was cool as a kid.
