Fireworks pics
My boss D sent me the fireworks pictures from July 4th. As usual, I look like a dork. For those who were not reading my journal back in July, I work on a fireworks barge every year setting up fireworks. Taking them out of boxes, nesting, wiring, etc. I've been doing it for the past six years. Though the 2006 show will be the last for the big fireworks (aka the 16") since the company sponsoring the show is moving to California. Anyway, underneath the cut are the pictures of my homely mug ;)
That's me wiring the fireworks together. That way they all go out at the same time :)
And here's me with a 16" (41cm) shell. It weights a little less than I do at 150 lbs (68kg) which is why I'm not holding it ;)
