Lesson learned

Well I learned a valuable lesson about my digital camera. Too bad I learned the lesson after I got back home. Better late than never I guess. The lesson in question is the adjustment of the Exposure Compensation levels. What the heck is Exposure Compensation you ask? Well basically it adjusts how much light comes in your camera while you take pictures. Normally you don't need to adjust it if taking pictures in regular light situations. Though you do need to adjust it when in low light or backlit situations. Otherwise the pictures will come out too dark like mine did at the the Rotherham & London shows.

I didn't realize this until comparing the pics I got from the two shows. For example, all the photos I got of Damian at the Rotherham show were really dark and the photos I got at the London show were fine. The difference was the lighting at the show. There was a spot light at the London show and none at the Rotherham show. The reverse happened for Stream of Passion. The London pics were too dark and the Rotherham ones were a little dark but mostly ok. Had I adjusted the level, the pics wouldn't be as vastly different. I wish it had dawned on me after the first show so I could have fixed it for the London and Edguy shows :(
