Queensryche/Tesla
The show wasn't bad but I've seen better from Queensryche in the past. It was the first time I'd seen a concert at the Puyallup Fairgrounds. Thankfully we didn't get rained on....
Tesla kicked butt as the opening band and definitely made Queensryche seem boring by comparison.
Queensryche's main problem was the setlist. Too many new songs in the earlier part of the setlist and too many obscure songs for the rest. I can't believe they played two songs off Tribe. Who the heck even likes that album to begin with? Not me.
Either way, I snapped some photos of both bands. The light was great for Tesla and crap for Queensryche. I don't know why headlining bands think it's a good idea to have little or no light on them. It's a pain in the ass to take pictures of, that's for sure.
