- Spent pretty much the whole Sunday listening/watching Sonata Arctica play at the Lowlands festival in The Netherlands. It was being streamed on a Dutch website so I just kept rewinding it over and over. I think I watched "Replica" and "Fullmoon" around 20-30 times.
It's not my fault that the opening of "Replica" has Tony looking up with such love at Elias to sing the opening lines. Awww. And "Fullmoon" has Tony playing hide and seek with Henrik, taking over his keyboard to play the opening notes, and then descending into giggles when he starts to sing. The man is an utter goof but I love him anyway ;)
- Went to La Cochina's for dinner on Sunday at 5:00pm with my cousin. Though we spent two hours there. My cousin is a really slow eater. I thought I was slow but I can't compare with that O_O
- Practicing away on my new guitar. Though my left hand doesn't like me at the moment. I can't figure out if it's because the neck is wider than I think or that I have crappy hand placement. It could be both, my luck.
- I've been trying out Lori's picking exercises from 2 years ago via her blog. Though ironically I find the ones suggested by the readers way more helpful than hers. Go figure. Still, I'm going to try and learn all of them anyway. I need something to get me back to where I was years ago.
- 31 days until Edguy. It will be my 6th time seeing them in 5 years. And my 2nd time seeing them this year. I can't wait :D
