Sexes? She's a short-haired, black cat with yellow eyes.
What are their names and nicknames? Hathor is her name. Though the full name is Hathor Harley Houdini. As for nicknames, sometimes I call her Pooky.
How come you named them what you did; the history behind their names? Her coloring reminded me of those ancient Egyptian cat statues from documentaries so I decided to give her an Egyptian name. I didn't want the obvious ones like Bast/Bastet or Isis. So I looked on a mythology page and found one that fit. The Harley name came from what she sounds like when she purrs. To me, she sounds like a Harley Davidson motorcycle. And the Houdini name was added when she used to escape from her collar every night as a kitten. I'd come back from work and it would be laying next to the door.
Are any of them related? Since there's only one, no.
Have any of them fathered/mothered kittens? Nope. I fixed Hathor shortly after her first time in heat.

Do they have any favorite toys; what toys? Yes, she loves her purple thingy. It used to be attached to a stick but the stick got bent so I took it off. She loves batting that thing around the apartment like a hockey player :)
Do they dig catnip? Not really. In fact, for her it has the opposite effect. Most cats get all relaxed but it makes mine act like she's on Speed.
What kind of food are they fed? Cat Chow for indoor cats. Occasionally I'll give her some wet food but not all of the time.
Do they beg for your food? Not really. She'll sniff at it and then walk away.
Do they like tuna? Not sure. I've never had any in the house to test out as it makes me sick. Though wet cat food-wise, she doesn't seem to. It gets left untouched compared to when I give her chicken or beef.
Any of them like veggies or fruits? I don't know. I've never given her any.
Have any of them had fleas? When I first got her in 2001 she was infested with them. It took me a while to get rid of all of them but now she's flea free.
Have you ever given any of them a bath? Yep
If so, how did they react? She hated it and avoided me for the rest of the day. I had to in order to get rid of the fleas she had.
Do your cats ever go wild during a full moon? She goes wild anytime of the day. No need for the Moon.
Do any of your cats particularly like music? Not my kind of music, it seems. She tends to run around crazed when I play Gamma Ray or any other Power Metal band. Then again, maybe it's her way of rocking out ;)

Do any of your cats have health problems? I don't so. Though Hathor has courser fur by the base of her tail. I'm not sure what it means, if anything.

Do they like to be held? Oh yeah. She'll interrupt anything I'm doing on the couch in order to snuggle.
Do loud noises intimidate them? Definitely. She hates loud noises.

Does a mower scare them? She's never been near one. I assume it would.

Have you ever moved with your cats? Yep, twice. I moved to Seattle from Bremerton with her in 2002 and then again to another apartment in 2006.
If so, how did they react to the move? She didn't like it. Especially the one from Bremerton to Seattle as it was an hour long ferry ride in a cat carrier.
Have you ever left your cats home alone while on vacation? Yep, all of the time. She's pretty self-sufficient in that regard. Though I won't leave her for more than 2 weeks as that's how long it takes for her water and dry food to run out.
If so, were they glad to see you return or didn’t care? She definitely was. Though she'll meow at me for several hours, probably letting me know that she was worried or bitching me out.
Also if so, was the home a disaster? What do you suppose they did? Nope. She probably slept the whole time, I imagine.
Have you had any cats that have died? Ironically, no. All of them seemed to run away or got given away. Though I've had various fish and guinea pigs that did.
