DSA Report
So I got into DSA this weekend, and my schedule is finally ironed out. Honors US History, Health/PE (ugh), Fundamentals of Modern Dance, Spanish III, Geometry, Theater Ensemble, and Honors English II. I'm really glad I won't have to re-take Biology. >.< It was a hassle getting credit for it. I'm kind of underwhelmed by the English class, sad to say, but I really like all my arts classes.
Random: screwing up in my dance class now makes me feel like I'm enforcing the stereotype that white girls can't dance. You know how when you go to the drugstore, all the foundation compacts are lined up, dark to light, so you can match your skin tone? I'm the palest girl in that class by a good yard of shelf space. Maybe even on the other side of the aisle. It's awfully self-conscious-making.
Oh, yesterday some kids invited me to eat lunch with them and I did! I mean, I spent today sitting alone doing geometry because I'm a hermit, but wasn't that nice of them?
