Well not really, but it sounds good anyway.
I had a nice talk with Deborah when I went to pick up Indio on Friday, and as predicted, he, Joey and I stayed in for the evening. We decided to forego pizza in favor of soup and sandwiches, as that was something everyone could eat. We did end up watching "Beauty and the Beast", as well as "Harry Potter", for the I don't know how many millionth time. Indio insisted on staying by Joey's side until she went to bed. He's had his flu shot though, and didn't show any symptoms all weekend, so I think we're in the clear. She was unfortunately feeling worse when Saturday rolled around, and while neither of us particularly wanted to leave, she insisted we go out and enjoy at least part of the afternoon, and assured us she'd be fine. So, the littlest Downey and I had some In n Out Burger, then hit the arcade. Billy must have taught him his Air Hockey secrets, as I didn't win a single game. We also played several rounds of Skee Ball, and ended up with several tickets, but the line at the counter was atrocious, so we decided to cash them in another day. We topped the afternoon off with an ice cream cone and a trip to the drug store. The evening found us playing even more games, of the Playstation variety, and then Sunday was his soccer game. Deborah met us there, and went ahead and took him home. I left with instructions to give Joey lots of hugs and kisses, and make sure she still had his 'sicky bear'.
I finally got ahold of Donovan, after playing phone tag all week, and we have plans to have dinner at some point this week. I've not seen him for at least a month now, as our schedules just haven't gelled, so it'll be good to catch up.
