Finally, I've witnessed the best 35 minutes of my life!
Saturday, 12:30 am, after thinking of what could be up later for my major classes, I opened the radio (automatically, it's tuned-in to 93.1) and suddenly heard the charming and uplifting voice of my ultimate crush,
DJ Jose Guererro of Monster Radio RX 93.1, Manila's Hottest!
And oh, quickly I grabbed the phone and called the station and oh, Jose answered it! Whoa!
"RX!"
"Jose!"
"Hey, who's this man?!"
"It's Alpha!"
"Alpha!!!"
ALPHA: That's my radio screen name. Haha!
He still remembers me! Come on, who would ever forget a guy who approached you during 3 consecutive premiere nights just to ask for a photo?! One, during Aquamarine (but I wasn't able to take his photo) then during the X3 and The Lake House screenings over at G4. No one would! Haha. I was so cheap. Anything for a photo. Haha. But it's all ok, because I'm working my ass off just to get myself into the station and work as a DJ in less than no time!... and then we'll be friends (not just acquaintances).
I told Jose about my dream of being an RX air staff soon. He told me to apply for Radio One (Your Crash Course and Cool School Affairs) but I told him that I'm having troubles with voice modulation plus I'm not too well with my vocabulary. I might run out of words on air! Haha! And you know what? He told me that starting that very minute, we'll be talking in english- and if ever he hears me utter a single filipino word, he'll hung up on me. And there, I had an internal bleeding! Haha!
Our conversation lasted for like 30 to 35 mninutes and I finally told myself that- yeah, Jose's a very nice guy!
Gelli Victor of "The Stretch" (airs Mon-Sat, 9-12nn) told me that there's no way she can blame me for being gaga over the bachelor because he's adorable! And yeah, I agree! I strongly do!
