Baguio Is Love

Dec 04, 2006 14:05

BAGUIO is the witness to how UST student leaders left all their worries in Manila and became "ordinary students" even for a short span of 4 days and 3 nights... and PACSA (Philippine Association of Campus Students and Advisers) made our stay in the cold mountains of Benguet possible.

Just a thought: did we really go there for a seminar? Answer it yourself :)
By the way, this is a nationwide thing and yes, we made friends with people around the archipelago, fun!

DAY 1 (Nov. 25, Saturday)

- Left Manila by 7:35, reached Baguio at around 1:30pm with three stop overs. Great Lunch in Pangasinan!

- Bonding with fellow Thomasian delegates and unloading of stuff at Recto Hall, dorm, Teacher's Camp

- Seminar #1 (the only seminar I've attended). Hehehe!

- Grouping for the Cultural Night presentation. I didn't attend that part. WHY?! Because...

- I met up with my true true love, ex-boyfriend Drew who stays in Baguio now. He stayed in our room and had a nice conversation with the UST people. He used to study in UST (Engineering) but he left for University of Baguio to take up Nursing. I'll post our nice photos soon :) he left at 2am, Sunday.

DAY 2 (Nov. 26, Sunday)

- Breakfast. Drew confirmed that he couldn't come and visit me that night.

- Ukay Ukay fun with Ma'am Anonas and Ma'am Ledesma plus AB & Commerce people. JHEY (dubbed Queen of Ukay) helped me out. It's only my 2nd time to feel Ukay! The best!

- FINE DINING at the FOREST HOUSE all on Dr. Cabral (UST CSC Adviser) for all the Thomasian delegates!

- Rehearsals and bonding with people from other schools and OTHER REGIONS! Yeah!

- At around 12mn, we hit NEVADA SQUARE and drank the night away in BEDROOM Bar. I had roughly a couple of bottles of San Mig Light and I was already cool with it until ATE CORDS hooked me up with- what was that?!- MINDORO SLING. The fuck! I got sooo drunk!

DAY 3 (Nov. 27, Monday)

- Went back to Ukay Ukay for more shopping galore, ultimate bonding with SOCC and CSC people.

- Had a big lunch at VENIZ GRILL- cool place because we get to choose the "sahog/ sangkap" we want for our meal. Anything that's there on the buffet table, no matter how great the amount of the 'sahog' you get, it's all up to us! :)

- Afternoon rehearsals, mini-debate concerning the flow of our cultural night presentation.

- Met DREW after dinner. This is the saddest part of my Baguio stay.

- Cultural Night presenation, super bonding with STAR, CFAD President.

- The sweetest part of my stay nonetheless was when my friend, EJ (from Laguna) and I toured ourselves around Teacher's Camp from 1:00am to 3:30am. It was freezing cold and cool and sweet and fun!

DAY 4 (Nov. 28, Tuesday)

- Breakfast, snacks and my last shower from that great shower room.

- Packing of stuff

- His and Hellos to EJ and the Laguna people

- Bus ride home. That does it. Back to reality. Back to being the "student council people."

- CHENEY was in-cahrged of the entertaining part in our bus ride.

- Back to UST, 8pm. Meeting and meeting. Hehe. I told you... we're back to basics! :)
