What I Had For Breakfast
This day is just crazy! I woke up at 7:55 am seeing 20 unread messages on my phone and 2 missed calls; all of them crying "P.R.O., where are you?!" -indirectly though! There's this newsflash that JED REGALA (UST- CSC PRO) sent at 7:45 am re: today's suspension of classes (Dec. 2, Sat.) and everyone was like asking me if it's true or not. My block mates who are already in UST were also texting me that THE GUARDS are NOT letting them in- for the UST- Secretary General told them that classes are suspended, so there! Damn late memo! Just when I thought everything was water under the bridge, here came some AB- Society officers texting me 20 minutes later telling me that the Secretary General held his words BACK regarding the suspension! What the f*ck?! So I hit JED and NEY VILLASENOR (UST- CSC Auditor) asking them about the hell that's been happening. NEY confirmed that the last memo the Sec Gen sent was about the suspension. JED on the other end said that DR. CABRAL (CSC Adviser/ Asst. to the Rector for Sudent Affairs) confirmed that classes are suspended today BUT... MA'AM JANET from the AB Dean's Office kept insisting that they are not receiving any memo re: the suspension. So classes WILL PUSH THROUGH. Duh?! The gates of AB were closed! Who are they to tell me that they weren't aware?! It took us (The ABSC) an hour to an hour and a half to end this sh*t. Everyone else was freaking out! Students who stay in Laguna went home already and yet they are expecting them to travel back to UST. Hell with them. My last hope was the superb MA'AM LEDESMA (AB SWDB Coordinator) whom I asked to call ASST. DEAN GONZALES and there, she put a decision on this crap- NO CLASSES in AB today. We don't care about the oher colleges, what's important is we decide on our own! WITH OR WITHOUT A DEAN, we can make something out of a bitchy nothing!
Thanks to the super people who helped me help the students out: ABSC SECRETARY Ate Cords (I love you!), ABSC TREASURER Niña (thanks for the patience), CASA PRESIDENT Ate Mina, SWDB Ma'am Ledesma and to the SUPER UST- Central Student Council officers- NEY VILLASENOR, Auditor and JED REGALA, PRO- ou guys sure know what responsibility is. I commend you for that! Nice!
Would you believe it?! We overcame this crap wih our Presidents not aware of it. Hehe. Peace! :)
OH! Later at around 12nn, Niña called to tell me that the UST- Sec Gen was sooo mad at the administrators who suspended the classes. Ano ba talaga?! Haha. This is wha I had for breakdfast! Beat that! STUDENT COUNCILS rule! Yeahboi!
